Since 1975, MarketPlace Fresh has been providing its customers in Melbourne with fruits and vegetables of the finest quality.

  • A guardian must stay with each child the entire assigned time on the “Lil Vendors” Day.Eating healthy means eating fresh.
  • Children and their guardians will be responsible for bringing and setting up their own tables, chairs, etc.
  • Sign-up will be available on a first-come-first-serve basis at the Market Information Table prior to the “Lil Vendor” Days.
  • Children may only sign up for one hour per market day.
  • There are four one-hour slots available for each “Lil Vendor” Day.
  • Each child should plan to bring between 15 and 25 of their items to sell.
  • Children can price items as they see fit, but must be under $5 per item.
  • Children and their guardians will be required to buy any products necessary for the project that they choose.
  • Children will have the opportunity to sell a creative project of their choice (Examples: bracelets, finger puppets, slime).
  • Children will sell their crafts from 9am-1pm on their assigned day.
  • Spring Lake: June 23, July 14, and August 11.
  • Grand Haven: June 22, July 13, and August 10.
  • Parents are to bring $5 in cash day to the Market Manager’s day off participation.
  • Cost is $5 to sign up with parent’s signature.
  • Kids are invited to get creative this summer with the opportunity to make crafts to sell at the Grand Haven Farmers Market OR the Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market.
  • The program provided for the first 200 kids per week(100 at each Market).
  • Wednesdays & Saturdays, June 11 – August 24, 8am – 1pm (GH) or Thursdays, June 16 – August 18, 9am – 1pm (SL).
  • Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market OR Grand Haven Farmers Market.
  • The spots available each day are on a first-come-first-serve basis
  • Please note: the program is being handled on a DAILY basis.
  • Each time a POP Kids Club member visits the Market, they will have their “Passport to Health” stamped at the Market Information Table and will be given two (2) $1 POP Kids Club tokens to be spent on fruits or vegetables at the Spring Lake Farm & Garden Market or the Grand Haven Farmers Market.
  • They must have an adult’s signature to participate.
  • Children ages 2 – 13 can sign up to be a “member” of the POP Kids Club at the Market Information Table.
  • The purpose of the POP Kids Club is to empower kids to make healthy choices, and have fun while doing it! The goal of this program is to educate our local youth about healthy eating and to make fresh foods accessible to them. – Eligible Items: Michigan produce and some herbs Customers spend coupons with Farmers who are participating.
